Description: The Department Secretary provides support and works independently and collaboratively with the Department Chair, Assistant Chair, and the 16+ faculty members of the Department of Mathematics to accomplish major department projects. This position will also serve in a confidential capacity, manage day-to-day operations within the department with minimal oversight, coordinate all department events, and provide administrative and supportive services to a variety of functions within the Department of Mathematics. This individual carries out projects independently from beginning to end while making decisions regarding project administration with little to no managerial input.
