25% - Serves on the Student Affairs Senior Leadership team to provide leadership, planning and administrative support for Student Affairs offices.
25% - Supervision and evaluation of personnel, fiscal management, and budget oversight.
20% - Develop initiatives that foster community, belonging, equity, and inclusive excellence. Collaborate with campus partners to create, encourage, and elevate diversity, equity, and social justice. Ensure a framework of equity and social justice is embedded into the day-to-day work in Student Affairs. Oversee, implement, and review the university’s recruitment and retention efforts to increase persistence and graduation for all historically under-represented and under-served undergraduate and graduate student populations.
20% - Address concerns regarding students and serve as a contact for students, faculty, staff, and family members needing assistance and direction related to student support services. Advocate for student needs and concerns and advance student engagement in decision-making to promote persistence and graduation.
10% - Other duties as needed, including supporting Student Senate; serving as a member of the KU On Call Team; and representation of Student Affairs at University events and services on various University committees.
