Fellow (Post Doc)
Kansas State University
About This Role
This position involves researching the crystal growth of wide energy band gap semiconductors from molten metal solutions. The project will involve conducting experiments to determine the optimal metal solvents and their compositions that produce large crystals with specific electronic and optical properties. Subsequently, the crystals will be characterized to determine their morphologies, composition, and structural qualities. The post-doc must be able to write papers for publication that describe how the experiments were conducted, the conclusions drawn, and their implication for developing technologies.
