Williams is pleased to announce the search for an Assistant Vice President (AVP) to join the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (OIDEI). OIDEI works to ensure the College's living, learning, and working environments are one's in which all students, faculty and staff are welcome and may thrive. OIDEI's work, which is often done in collaboration with academic and administrative units across campus, focuses on eliminating harmful bias and discrimination, closing opportunity gaps, and facilitating dialogue and conversation on campus and beyond.
Reporting to the Vice President for Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the AVP will possess a deep knowledge of matters of inclusion and equity and be proficient in advancing initiatives that stand to positively impact individuals of all identities.
Our expectation is that the successful candidate will excel at working in a community that is broadly diverse with regard to, among other things, race, ethnicity, economic status, gender, disability status, nationality, sexual orientation and religion. In a cover letter, applicants should describe their experience with conflict management, investigation, workshop development and facilitation, restorative practices, and intra- and intergroup dialogue and fostering inclusive communities.

This position is a full-time, year-round appointment. Some evening and weekend hours are required. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications; the range for this position is $110,000--$125,000. For optimal consideration, submit a resume and cover letter by May 29, 2025.
