About This Role
The College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a Maintenance Supervisor Senior. This position oversees a team of workers to provide maintenance to an assigned area of campus. Administers the workflow of a maintenance team. Manages the schedules and activities of maintenance staff members to direct and oversee their workflow. Ensures that assigned staff members have all tools and materials required to complete assignments. This position typically supervises Maintenance Supervisor positions. This position reports to the appropriate administrator.

What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma
• 5 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Extensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and practices used in operating, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and electrical equipment of a physical plant and large commercial buildings
• Ability to develop, plan, and implement work schedules and to otherwise supervise all aspects of the work performed by subordinate staff members
• Knowledge of KDHE, CFC, asbestos, lead based paint, mold, and EPA regulations
• Extensive experience in working in and around multiple buildings and their systems
• Technical/vocational completion of a building maintenance trade
• Customer-service and Team-focused philosophy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
