About This Role:

The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking an Animal Technician I to join our dedicated team to help facilitate exemplary patient care and quality customer service. This position supports the routine and specialized care of hospitalized animals in the VHC by maintaining and ensuring a sanitary and safe environment for patients, faculty, staff, students, and visitors. This position is primarily responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting of large animal common and ancillary areas of the hospital. Hours for this position will be Monday-Friday, 4pm-12am with rotating on-call weekends. Individuals in this position must be self-motivated and detail-oriented.

• Experience with large animals
