About This Role

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Post-Doctoral Research Associate to join our research team. This position will focus on studying nitrogen use efficiency (NUE), nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions, and synthesizing research findings related to the nitrogen cycle. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to integrate research across different aspects of the nitrogen cycle, contributing to the development of comprehensive synthesis papers.

What You'll Need to Succeed

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

• Ph.D. in Agronomy, Soil Science, Environmental Science or a related field, with expertise in nitrogen cycling, NUE, and N2O emissions.

• Strong background in data analysis and synthesis, with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS) and experience in writing synthesis papers.

• Experience in writing and editing synthesis papers or review articles that integrate diverse research findings.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with a demonstrated ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals.

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to collaborative research efforts.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Experience in coordinating or contributing to large-scale, interdisciplinary research projects focused on the nitrogen cycle.

• Familiarity with modeling approaches for nitrogen cycling and N2O emissions in agricultural systems.
