About This Role:
Kansas State Salina seeks applications for a full-time, nine-month faculty member in English/Composition/Literature. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute actively to the Department of Integrated Studies through an anticipated 80% teaching, 10% service, and 10% scholarship load. Areas of teaching emphasis may include but are not limited to multiple sections of Expository Writing I and II, Intro to Literature, Digital Storytelling, and/or Technical Writing. Faculty in this position will be expected to help manage the Writing Center and contribute to the WAC/WID programs in the College of Technology and Aviation.

What You'll Need to Succeed:
Minimum Qualifications:
•
Ph.D. English or related field
•
Writing center work experience
•
Excellent written and oral communication skills
•
Evidence of successful teaching in Higher Education
•
Evidence of research and publication potential
•
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary and multi-programmatic teams
Preferred Qualifications:
•
Online teaching experience
•
Research interest, experience with WAC/WID teaching and writing program development, writing center pedagogy, technical writing, literature, and/or digital rhetoric/storytelling
Other Requirements:
